Music-Extreme review (added 6/April/2005)
New review found in Music-Extreme site...

This is really melodic heavy/ power metal full of keyboards and interesting arrangements that have an epic quality in them. I mean, the melodies are essential in Nuclear Dawn´s music and they have a classical and epic feeling when combined with heavier parts. There is virtuosism in order to achieve great results and that is evident specially on the guitar solos. The singer reminded in some places to Joe Lynn Turner or to Marc Boals which is a good mix between melody and power. He has a good vocal registry for this type of music. The sound is a little bit raw for this style of music, specially in the drums that sound a little bit back in the mix and I think that maybe with a better mix the band can sound even more powerful. Thumbs up for the rhythm section that is extremely tight and well rehearsed and that can be heard through all the album. This is what I call a good heavy/power metal release.

"The Vault" magazine review from Serbia (added 14/Sep/2004)
The Vault magazine from Serbia writes a review about "Poem of a Knight". The Issue is going to be released later this year.

The Vault Magazine "Poem of a Knight" review - rated 8.5 / 10

This past period between no. 4/5 and no. 6 issues of The Vault has been the time of my greatest explorations in underground metal, but this time I was paying much more attention to the geographical position of the bands and scenes. During one such research I was able to discover the whole range of bands from the Arab world. Amongst them was the Syrian quintet under the name of Nu.Clear.Dawn. I really had no information about any of the bands from the Arab countries, be it Northern Africa or Middle East, thus not knowing what to expect. Still, these bands from which I didn’t know what to expect never seemed to disappoint me, contrarily to the ones in which I had high expectations. The guys from Aleppo play a rather convincing version of progressive metal. In some things they don’t differ from the rest of progressive metal world. Most songs are rather long, as it seems it became some sort of postulate in the realm of progressive. Most times bands don’t know exactly how to use this time and make compositions that bore you to hell. I prefer the prog. bands that, with all the complex compositions and diverse elements, still have the fluent music that will grab your attention and wouldn’t let go until the end. Nu.Clear.Dawn is one such band. It’s consisted of very good musicians, guys that studied well all the different styles they incorporate in their music, be it classic or metal. There are lots of classical melodies, particularly played by keyboards which are more than an equal instrument in the final outcome. They get full exposure when they play solos, taking over the role of the second guitar, and thanks to keyboard player’s skills it sounds quite OK. And the singer… man, this guy (Amr Rifai) rips and could be compared with any more known singer from the genre and beyond. The overall sound is more than good. It was all recorded, mixed and produced without any notable omissions or glitches. It’s just pity it loses on intensity coming towards the end, but doesn’t ruin the impression. Hearing entire “Poem Of A Knight” you won’t get some groundbreaking album, but this is one hell of an album standing on its own and surely surpasses most of the progressive albums released lately. Their exotic origin will most likely give them advantage over their peers from all around the world, where such bands are more than common thing, but could be counted as disadvantage as well because it’ll take them twice as much work to get the proper exposure and recognition. I wish them all the best, because they deserve at least an equal spot as Symphony X if not more, as “Poem Of A Knight” is way better than their last album.
